MINDFULNESS WORKSHOP
Slowing Down to Connect to your Deepest Truths
by moving, listening and feeling
I've designed this workshop to help you reconnect to your true Self. I tailor your personal journey with the knowledge I have gained along my own journey in yoga, meditation, movement, music, theatre, writing and art therapy. In this experience, you will open pathways to: 
  • Slow down
  • Reconnect to your inner self
  • Align your desires and truths to your daily living
When you become aligned with your truths, the universe will conspire in your favor, allowing gifts to flow to you and through you into the world. 

We’ll journey inward and connect to ourselves through the gifts we’ve all been given--our bodies, voices and emotions--using a simple 6-step process that combines yoga and art therapy. You don’t have to be an artist or a performer because it is not by mistake that we’ve all been given these gifts. They all hold immense power to help us reconnect with our essence and flow effortlessly from there. You'll be guided and supported throughout the journey in a safe space. 
  1. Stop - To pause in life is often difficult. We'll begin by walking and slowly move towards stillness. 
  2. Breathe - In stillness, we will slowly journey inwards through the breath. 
  3. Listen (Voice) - With a basic understanding of Nada Yoga, or the Yoga of Sound, we'll appreciate the power of our voices to bring peace and calm. We will listen to a traditional Indian instrument as well as the sound of our own voice to deepen the feeling. 
  4. Move (Body) - Through dance/movement therapy, we will start to connect with and appreciate the mind-body connection. We will expand the body and mind by expanding the range of movement then return to a stiller and truer space within by exploring authentic movement.
  5. Feel (Emotions) - Through drama therapy, we will become friends with our emotions and play with them rather than avoiding, judging and suppressing them. We will use what we have activated in the last two parts, your body and voice, to journey inward towards emotional health.
  6. Connect - Through guided meditation and journalling, we will capture the insights received in the experience. We'll consciously use eye contact, safe touch and silence to connect with each other from the space of stillness and awareness.

What could seem uncomfortable and scary becomes safe and nourishing in the right environment. In fact, it is only strange that it is not a part of our daily lives. Once we work with one layer of truth, we journey from there to discover more layers of truth. Through a deeper connection to ourselves and our inner truths, we arrive at a deeper connection with others.
